Started in 1972 to provide reliable backup power for industries, the organization has kept ahead of the times and upgraded its expertise and range to cater to the age of information technology. The initiative of Sidhartha Ramachandran, a Computer Engineering student from the University of Texas at Austin, Power Centre’s foray into Information Technology began in the early 1990s when many organisations were just exploring the very basic power of computers. Since then, Power Centre has grown from strength to strength helping organisations navigate the rapid changes in technology from the influx of laptops and client servers to cloud technology and AI.
Power Centre gives its clients complete solutions through software, hardware, and cloud backed by professional and committed service with a team of experienced professionals and over three decades of support to hundreds of organisations across all verticals.

Power Centre Services Private Limited
Established in 1972, the diesel generator business continues to thrive, with many customers trusting us with the Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) of their generators for over 50 years. Today, Power Centre Services not only provides AMCs but also continues to sell diesel generators to customers.

Masterpage
Initially begun to provide content creation services for corporate and media houses in 1992, Masterpage morphed into a consultancy providing communications support for the development sector. In recent years, Masterpage has become the dedicated marketing support arm for the Power Centre Group. Additionally, the well-known brand of traditional games of India – Kreeda – has been conceptualised, curated and marketed by Masterpage.

Power Centre has long believed that the culture of an organization is reflected not merely in how we work with our clients, but also in how we work with our employees and how we interact with our community.
HR
Power Centre has strong HR values; work life balance is treasured. This is critical for all employees as we believe it allows them to find time to learn new technologies, grow and support their clients better. This does not mean that clients cannot reach the team after office hours. The team can be reached for emergencies at any time, with senior professionals responding to client queries as required.
Power Centre is also the winner of the Gabriella Schuster award for diversity and inclusion in the year 2022. This award recognises the hallmarks of Power Centre - Equal opportunities to all, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, sexuality, HIV status or neurodiversity. We are proud to say that a large number of our senior team consists of women, many of whom have been with us for over a decade.
CSR
Power Centre was one of the early organizations to adopt a non-discrimination, nondisclosure policy for HIV. In recent years, Power Centre has also been working with numerous NGOs to try to explore the role that neurodiverse individuals can play in the effective functioning of the organization. These initiatives, coupled with a strong employee culture of collaboration and cooperation makes Power Centre stand out. Not merely as your IT provider, but as an organization with strong cultural ethical values.
Power Centre believes that it is important to give back to the community and has, as part of its CSR, adopted an NGO called the Petralthan Pillaiya Trust. The trust works to monitor, mentor and guide children with HIV through telephone-based counselling.
